What is it?

If you’ve connected your Xero account within bluesheets, bluesheets' fileAI will automatically create Xero export rules based on historical data and mapping within Xero.


Who does this matter to, and why?

Xero users will no longer need to manually create export rules for new and existing contacts, as well as document types during the initial set up phase. 


If documents with new and existing contacts are uploaded into bluesheets, the fileAI engine will generate approximate rules based on historical data. The new contact, line items, and account codes configured will also be saved in Xero directly post-export, saving you the double work of manually creating the contacts within Xero as well.


How does it work?

Connect your Xero account and upload your invoices.


Once your accounts are connected and invoices uploaded, you’ll see a shiny Automate Export button beside files that are ready for export and have had automatic rules created.


In order to automatically create rules, our fileAI engine pulls historical data from your Xero account and copies the mapping for existing contacts within Xero, line item and account code matching included! 


If there isn’t an existing contact within Xero, fileAI will create an approximate rule for the file based on your Xero account history.  fileAI will also save the new contact(s) within Xero itself with the mapping set up on bluesheets’ end.

Once you’ve automated an export once, simply trigger export the next time you upload the same document type to export it directly into Xero.
